Current law concerning Legionella water temperature testing, as defined in the revised Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) issued by the Government's Health and Safety Executive (HSE),states that it is the responsibility of all employers, who manage premises with hot/cold water systems and/or a wet cooling systems, to prevent Legionella contamination and to prevent or control its spread.

This kit from Comark is designed to help prevent the spread of the Legionnaires type of bacteria. Generally, Legionella bacteria start to multiply in water at temperatures between 20 to 45°C (with the spread increased by the presence of nutrients such as rust, algae, sludge and scale). To control this, water should typically be kept cold below 20°C while hot water should be stored above 60°C and distributed at 50°C.

You can use this kit to test the water in storage as well as test the surface of pipes and tanks in the water system.

The KM330 Legionella Kit contains a KM330 rugged Type K Thermocouple thermometer, Pro 1 Penetration Probe and SK21M Surface Probe and a soft carry case.

Ideal for a range of industrial uses, including air conditioning temperature monitoring and heating system testing.

KM330 Industrial Thermometer is a single input thermometer with a wide range of applications. Users can select readings in °C of °F and high or standard resolution to suit their requirements. Hold and Max functions are provided, to freeze the last reading on the display and to record the maximum value.

	The KM330 Industrial Thermometer is a Type K thermocouple thermometerfor checking temperatures in industrial applicationssuch as heating, ventilating,air conditioning and refrigeration.
	The Pro1 Probe is Type K Probe fitted with a 2-Pin Sub-Miniature connector,to provide a quick and easy connection to your device.
	The SK21M General Purpose Fast Response Probe is a Type K Thermocouple Surface Probe, fitted with a 1m curly cable.
	The Soft Carry Case AC315 is designed for small handheld thermometers including the C Series and KM330/KM340 Food Thermometers.
	Free UKAS Traceable Calibration Certificate at the standard points of 0°C  70°C and 100°C. (penetration probe only).

Traceable Calibration Certificate

This unit is shipped with a Traceable Calibration Certificate dated on the day of order and showing results against specified points.

The calibration is carried out to National Standards using UKAS Accredited Laboratory Certificated Equipment. This gives the Certificate a traceability route right back to the national laboratory.

Our calibrations on this unit are done using a Julabo Calibration Bath and a UKAS Accredited Laboratory Calibrated Lab Facility Tempmaster Reference Thermometer.
