Digital Max Min Fridge Freezer Thermometer With Alarm

Supplied With Thermometer Point Three Point Traceable Certificate (MHRA Recommended)

We guarantee a  Pass Rate of 0.5 Degrees on this item for all calibrations between -18 and +30 degrees centigrade. 

This thermometer is supplied with a three point traceable calibration certificate as recommended by the MHRA (medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency) Each thermometer comes indivudually numbered and certificated with dates and calibration results giving certified accuracy.

The thermometer features a large backlit LCD display, a max/min memory function to record the highest and lowest temperatures and an audible alarm. This Fridge Thermometer incorporates two temperature sensors, a remote water resistant probe with a two metre PVC lead for the appliance temperature, and an internal sensor for the room temperature.

Traceable Calibration Certificate

This unit is shipped with a Traceable Calibration Certificate dated on the day of order.

The calibration is carried out to National Standards using UKAS Accredited Laboratory Certificated Equipment giving the Certificate a traceability route right back to the national laboratory.

Our calibrations on this unit are done using a Julabo Stirred Water Bath and a UKAS Accredited Laboratory Calibrated Lab Facility Tempmaster Reference Thermometer.

We guarantee a  Pass Rate of 0.5 Degrees on this item for all calibrations between -18 and +30 degrees centigrade. For other temperature points a standard pass rate of +/-1°C degrees will apply as per the thermometer specifications.

N.B Calibration is for Probe attachment only (Fridge Function)

    The calibration certificate was within 0.1oC so very pleased with it's performance.
    It's small and minimalistic and with magnets on the back of the product, it's easy to stick to the fridge (if that's your intended use).
    You can get two temperature readings; the probe and the unit itself which is useful for measuring inside the fridge and kitchen with one product.
    It records Min and Max values so you can track how the temperature fluctuates in its environment (quite a lot in a fridge which I didn't realise). You can also set an alarm to peep when it goes outside a range that you can set.

    My only negative is the 2m lead on the probe. If like me, it's mainly used on in the fridge then the length of lead is over kill and looks a bit messy as there is nowhere to store it. I guess it has it's uses for other applications however.

    Can't say how it compares to others as this is the only one I have however for the price it does everything I need it to do and it does it well.
