The C48PKIT Thermometer and Probe Kit is a simple to use, food thermometer kit containing a C48C Type K Thermocouple Thermometer for reliable and accurate temperature measurement and a PK24M Standard Industrial Penetration probe.

Housed in a robust case with built-in protective rubber boot it can be used in a wide range of applications. Use with any Comark Type K probe with a sub-miniature connector.

The C48C Type K Thermocouple Thermometer is reliable and accurate for temperature measurement in all food environments. Housed in a robust case with built-in protective rubber boot, designed for use with a wide range of Comark probes with sub-miniature connector. The features of this Type K Food Thermometer include a permanent clock and countdown timer within the display – with selectable alarms – to allow probe insertion times to be monitored.

The case of the C48C Type K Thermocouple Thermometer is rated to IP65/IP67 dust and waterproof standards and Comark also uses BioCote Antimicrobial Protection, the only antimicrobial solution to be awarded HACCP International Certification, to provide an important extra level of defence against cross-contamination. This product is also NSF Certified.

Traceable Calibration Certificate

This unit is shipped with a Traceable Calibration Certificate dated on the day of order and showing results against specified points of +0°C,  70°C & +100°C.

The calibration is carried out to National Standards using UKAS Accredited Laboratory Certificated Equipment. This gives the Certificate a traceability route right back to the national laboratory.

Our calibrations on this unit are done using a Fisher Scientific Stirred Water Bath and a UKAS Accredited Laboratory Calibrated Lab Facility Tempmaster Reference Thermometer.
