Food service, food preparation, packaging, storage and transport of food require temperature to be monitored or controlled. Spot checking temperatures with Hanna food thermometers ensures daily work routines are carried out at the correct temperature.
Designed with user functionality and performance in mind, the HI-93501 is a waterproof thermistor thermometer that measures temperature from -50.0 to 150.0°C (-58.0 to 302.0°F). The included batteries provide up to 4500 hours of continuous use. CAL Check™ and the Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) ensure the highest level of accuracy and confidence.
The HI-93501 includes Hanna‘s exclusive CAL Check™ technology. CAL Check™ allows the user to check calibration status. If the meter is calibrated, the display will automatically show "0.0°C" during startup.
The included AAA batteries provide 4500 hours of continuous use. When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will blink to indicate low battery condition. When low battery power may affect your results, the meter will shut down to avoid erroneous readings caused by low battery level.
The auto-off feature can be set to shut the meter off at 8 or 60 minutes, or it can be disabled so that the meter continuously stays on. The auto-off feature prolongs battery life for peace-of-mind and energy savings if the meter is accidentally left on.
Waterproof casing and optional shockproof rubber boot offers maximum protection for a durable thermometer than can handle any environment.
This unit is shipped with a Traceable Calibration Certificate dated on the day of order and showing results against specified points of +0°C, 70°C & +100°C.
The calibration is carried out to National Standards using UKAS Accredited Laboratory Certificated Equipment. This gives the Certificate a traceability route right back to the national laboratory.
Our calibrations on this unit are done using a Julabo Stirred Water Bath and a UKAS Accredited Laboratory Calibrated Lab Facility Tempmaster Reference Thermometer.
NB Check with your inspector if unsure if a Traceable Certificate meets your business requirements.
